Anna Mae Sellner

Anna Mae Sellner (Landsteiner) Of Shoreview, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at age 83, surrounded by her children and grandchildren, on May 13, 2023. Anna joins her loving husband, John A. Sellner, beloved son, Jonathan C. Sellner, her parents, and several siblings in Heaven. Her lifelong goal was to get to Heaven, and surely, the gates of Heaven opened wide for her, and the angels rejoiced at her arrival. Anna's life was defined by her strong faith, servant's heart, and dedication to her family. She had a kind and loving soul, and incredible strength and resilience. She loved music, God's beautiful creation, and time spent with her family. She grew up on a small farm in Fairmont, Minnesota with her parents and 7 siblings. She spent time in Louisiana as a young adult, living with her brother's family, and then moved to her sister's home in Earlville, Iowa. It was in the church choir in Earlville that she met her loving and devout husband, John. When John and Ann were married, they moved to St. Paul, Minnesota and eventually settled in Shoreview, Minnesota, where she lived the remainder of her life, surrounded by the beauty of nature. Her life was spent doing God's work, loving people just as they are, and leading a Christian life of service, love, and hospitality. Anna is survived by her children Dan (Sarah) Sellner, Chuck Sellner, Kathy (Terry) Thiele, Laura (Mike) Watters, Carrie (Tim) Jennings, Joanne Sellner, Liane Sellner, Erin (Cliff) Jennings, and Kristin (Tim) Fredricks; her grandchildren Mary Ann (Shawn) Morley, Sherri (Dustin) Betow, Billy Dupay, Renée Sellner, Dana (Logan) Utterberg, Andrew (Kia) Sellner, Katelyn (Jacob) Wrobbel, Benjamin (Holly) Thiele, Anna (Lucas) Schiller, Jon Michael Watters, Robyn Sellner, Grace Thiele, Natalie Watters, Nathan Jennings, Luke Sellner, Gavin Jennings, Collin Jennings, Amelija Fredricks, Julija Fredricks, Addison Jennings, and Cecilija Fredricks; and many great grandchildren. Anna's siblings include, Berniece (dec.) (Don) (dec.) Welte, Vincent (dec.) (Anna Marie) Landsteiner, Helen (dec.) (Daryl "Gil") (dec.) Gilbertson, Lorraine (dec.) (Anthony) (dec.) Templin, Kenneth (dec.) (Carol) Landsteiner, Frank (Janice) (dec.) Landsteiner, David (Bonnie) Landsteiner. Her sisters and brothers-in-law Germaine (dec.) (Gilbert) (dec.) Goedken, Mildred (dec.) (Raymond) (dec.) Geistkemper, Delores (James) (dec.) Burkle, Irvin (dec.) (Donna) Sellner, Donald (dec.) (Bonnie) Sellner, James (dec.) (Carlyn) Sellner, Carol (dec.), (Merlin) Krapfl, David (Carol) Sellner. Visitation 4pm - 7pm Tuesday, May 16 at Holcomb Henry Boom Purcell Funeral Home, 515 Highway 96 W., Shoreview, MN. Mass of Christian Burial 11am (visitation 10-11 AM) Wednesday, May 17 at ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CATHOLIC CHURCH, 835 2nd Ave NW, New Brighton MN.
