Andrew Christopher Larson, born on June 23, 1988 in Seoul, South Korea, passed away on November 15, 2025 in Prior Lake, MN. Andrew is survived by his wife Michele; his two daughters Thea and Willa; his parents, Susan and Steven; his stepmother Catherine; his sisters Jennifer (Ty) and Rachel (J.P.); his stepbrother Hunter; niece and nephews Iris, Sean and Hudson; and great aunt Patricia Terry. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Horace and Ferne Eder, Cliff and Marian Larson; and his aunt Nancy Meacham. Andrew was adopted from Seoul, South Korea at 4 months old. He was welcomed at the airport by his mom, dad, and older sister, Jennifer, who was adopted from South Korea the previous year. One year later, Andrew met his younger sister, Rachel. He was so excited to have another sister that he bit her toe in protest. His displeasure soon faded, and the three siblings became a tight-knit unit, remaining very close throughout childhood and adulthood. As a child, Andrew enjoyed drawing, collecting collectables, painting small figurines, watching TV and movies, and playing video games with friends. To finance his various hobbies, he started his first job at Cub Foods at the age of 15 in the Maintenance department. He was promoted to Produce Retail Specialist and stayed with the company for 10 years. He was known to befriend anyone who entered the store - shoppers and employees alike - and took great pride in his expansive knowledge of fruits and veggies. After his graduation from Jefferson High School, Andrew completed his bachelor's degree in Media Arts & Animation at the Art Institute of Minnesota. He worked in various marketing and graphic design roles, most recently at Total Displays in Bloomington, MN. He maintained an active freelance career, developing many works including the "Man Bear Pigs" logo licensed by 93X (KXXR) radio station. Andrew created t-shirts, stickers, face masks, and more with the design and directed the proceeds to the Randy Shaver Cancer Research & Community Fund. Andrew's greatest creation was his family. He met his wife, Michele, on May 25, 2012 on a blind date. He proposed on May 25, 2016 and their daughter, Thea was born later that year. Michele and Andrew were married on May 25, 2018. According to his officiant and best friend, the wedding day was the "greatest May 28th" ever. Their youngest daughter, Willa, was born in 2019. Andrew loved nothing more than being a husband and father. He was a fun and gentle parent who doted on his girls. His free time was spent bringing the girls to different activities, playing around the house, having family dinners, and watching animated movies that he secretly liked more than the kids did. He was the perfect girl dad, professional dad-joke-teller, and ultimate family man. He took care of his mother, acting as her personal Geek Squad employee and general contractor, and kept up in the sibling group chat with his sisters. The memorial service to honor the life of Andrew Christopher Larson will be held on November 29, 2025 at Washburn McReavy - Werness Brothers Chapel at 2300 W. Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, MN 55431. Visitation will be held 10:00am - 11:00am, with a memorial service held 11:00am - 12:00pm followed by a small luncheon.
