Alex Kusero

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our cherished Alex Siameto Kusero, who left us on March 6, 2025, just a few days shy of his 38th birthday. While we mourn the loss of his physical presence, we celebrate the beautiful life he led and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him. Born on March 11, 1987, to Anne Lasoi Kusero and Francis Suakei Kusero, Alex was a light in this world. His warm, infectious smile and generous spirit brightened every room he entered. Known for his love of art, cars, and fashion, Alex had an extraordinary sense of style that reflected his creative and vibrant soul. His passion for life and his ability to make those around him feel special were unmatched. Alex's educational journey included time at Karen C Primary School, Kyuna Academy, and some Normandale College, before finding his calling in the construction industry. As a dedicated construction employee with Garlock-French Corporation in Minnesota, USA, Alex took great pride in his work, always striving for excellence. Even in the face of health challenges, Alex remained a source of strength for his family and friends, often helping when he was able. His courage and perseverance were an inspiration to all who knew him. He was surrounded by the unwavering love and support of his family in both USA and Kenya, as well as many friends who provided him with comfort and encouragement during difficult times. Alex's spirit lives on in the comforting words of 2 Timothy 4:7: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." We find peace in knowing how truly blessed we were to experience his caring, colourful and loving nature. While we miss him dearly, we take solace in the knowledge that Alex is no longer in pain. Though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit endures, embraced by the Light of God in a place of eternal peace, grace, and glory. It is well. Alex is survived by his loving parents, Anne Lasoi Kusero and Francis Suakei Kusero; his siblings, Arnold, Angelah and Ken Kusero; and his beloved nieces and nephews, Sankale, Tevin, Tristan, Kelsy, Angie, and Hillary. He was also blessed with a close-knit family of many aunts, uncles, and cousins, not only in Kenya but across the globe, including Canada, Germany, the UK, and the USA. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his extended family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. A Celebration of Life will be held in Alex's honor, and we invite all friends and family to join us in remembering his vibrant spirit and the joy he brought to our lives.
