Ricardo Pabustan Anunciacion ----------------- Ricardo Pabustan Anunciacion, a beloved husband, father, and cherished member of the community, passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 72. He was born on October 20, 1951, in the Philippines, where he spent his early years before moving to Escondido, California, and spent his last four months with his whole family in Brooklyn Park, MN until his peaceful departure. Ricardo is survived by his wife Yolanda, Children, Marissa (Robin), May (Ronald), Eric (Jacqueline), Mylene (Aaron), Ricardo Jr. Ricardo, known to his loved ones as Boy Kurog, was a kind-hearted individual who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He valued family above all. Boy Kurog's greatest pride and joy were his grandchildren (MIO, Matthew, Gabby and Freya), who brought immense happiness into his life. Professionally, Boy Kurog found fulfillment in his work at Pechanga Casino. With his dedicated spirit and meticulous attention to detail, he was highly respected among his colleagues and valued by those he served. Outside of work, Boy Kurog had a passion for his Roosters, Cock Fighting and Playing slot machines. The tranquility and simplicity of this activity brought him solace and allowed him to reconnect with nature. An avid car enthusiast, Boy Kurog also found delight in tinkering with automobiles. Whether it was fixing a mechanical issue or simply taking a leisurely drive, he would always find a sense of contentment in the company of his cherished vehicles. On January 2, 2024, we invite friends, family, and loved ones to join us for a Chapel Service at Glen Haven Chapel at 11:00 am, as we gather to celebrate Boy Kurog's well-lived life and honor his memory. Prior to the service, a Visitation will be held at the chapel at 10:00 am, providing an opportunity for loved ones to share their condolences and reminisce about the beautiful memories created with Boy Kurog. The funeral service will be available via live stream on his tribute page at www.washburn-mcreavy.com Following the funeral services, Boy Kurog will be laid to rest in a peaceful burial at Mound Cemetery of Brooklyn Center - 3515 69th Avenue North, Brooklyn Center, MN 55429, by his loving family and friends. Ricardo Pabustan Anunciacion will forever be remembered for his kind-hearted nature, unwavering love for his family, and his ability to find joy in the simplest of things. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will be held close to the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
