Dolphin, Dorothy M. (Pohlad) (continued) For the past several years, Dorothy's schedule has been restricted due to her progressive condition of Fronto- Tempural Dementia. While this debilitating disease slowly took her from us, Dorothy continued to be a pillar of strength to those around her and a shining example of determination to the end. In her time of need, God answered by providing three earthly angels in Mary Aistrop, Susan Duhamel and Sister Rosemary Essien. One of the three angels was always with her over the past three years. Their caring assistance and understanding was a tremendous comfort for Dorothy and very much appreciated by the Dolphin Family. We will all miss Dorothy physically, but know that we will always feel her undying presence and will continue to live her life lessons. Preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Dolphin; her parents, Michael Pohlad, Mary Pohlad Kiefer and her stepfather, Henry Kiefer; her mother-in-law, Marie Dolphin; her father-in-law, Francis Dolphin; her brother, Harold Pohlad; her sisters, Francis Doyle, Velma Urban and Joan Erickson; her brothers-in-law, Russ Stotesberry, Stanley White, Rupert Quinn and Robert Erickson, and sisters-in-law, Bette Dolphin Bezanson and Eloise Pohlad. Survived by her children, Thomas Dolphin (Ellen), Gregory Dolphin (Joan) and Kathleen Dolphin (Michael); her long-time companion, Dr. Harvey O'Phelan; her brother, Carl Pohlad; her sisters, Helen Quinn and Jean White; her sister-in-law, Sandra Pohlad; her brother-in-law, Bob Bezanson; her grandchildren, Thomas Dolphin Jr., Jonathan Dolphin, Sophie Jonsson, Audrey Jonsson and Dora Dolphin. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 18th from 4-8 PM at Washburn- McReavy Funeral Chapel, located at 5000 W. 50th St. & Hwy 100, Edina, MN 55436, and 11 AM to 12 PM (Noon), one hour before mass at The Basilica of St. Mary on Thursday, July 19th. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, July 19th, 12 (noon), The Basilica of St. Mary, located at Hennepin Ave. & I-94, Minneapolis, MN 55403, 612-333-1381. Interment at Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, immediately following the mass at The Basilica of St. Mary.
