Constance Jean Dunn Golden Valley, Minnesota Constance Jean Dunn (neé Nyberg) died Thursday, October 13, 2022, surrounded by her family. Mass of Christian Burial 10am Thursday October 20th with visitation beginning at 9am at The Church of St. Olaf, 8th Street and 2nd Avenue South, Minneapolis. Immediately following the funeral there will be a reception at the Woman's Club of Minneapolis, 410 Oak Grove Street, Minneapolis. Private Interment Lakewood Cemetery. Connie brought magic and joy to everything she did. There wasn't a baby she wouldn't hold or costume she couldn't make. Hospitality was her love language, and she was known for the incredible meals she shared with friends and family. Her grandbabies all had baths in the kitchen sink and were invited to help her cook as soon as they could stand on a chair. A nurse by profession, she always made people feel better. When the grandkids were sick, they would ask to go to Nana's house because she was "good" at taking care of sick people. There has never been a more brave and generous heart. Connie was ALWAYS the first one to jump in the water and never hesitated to get her hair wet. She traveled all over the world with her husband and their bicycles. Italy, Peru, and Canada were just a few of the places she ventured. Always up for a challenge and a good time, Connie rode the RAGBRAI multiple times. Her nickname was "Tiger" and she earned it. A breast cancer survivor, Connie faced her dementia diagnosis with courage. Connie's family is grateful for the care she received at Towerlight Senior Living where she lived for four years. As her illness progressed, she had the loving support of family and the constant companionship of her husband, Dan. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Dunn, her three children, Molly Gage (Aaron), Sean Dunn (Jennifer) and Kathryn Downey (Jim) and her seven grandchildren Sam and Kate Gage, Jude and Colin Dunn, and Rose, Danny and Molly Downey. She was welcomed into heaven by her parents, Robert and Mary Nyberg and her dear friends who have gone before her.
