Beatrice Harriet Bramwell

Beatrice "Bea" Harriet Bramwell, age 89 of Eden Prairie, passed away peacefully on 9/12/2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Louise (Kramer) Nelson; siblings, Betty (John) Hovanetz, Andy (Cathy) Nelson, Jeanne (Dick) Jeppesen, twin sister Berniece (Al) Boehland, Wayne (June) Nelson, Rose Marie (Earl) Knobel, and sister-in-law Nita Nelson. Bea was a caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who dearly loved her family. She grew up in Minneapolis, raised her family in Bloomington, and lived her remaining years in Eden Prairie. She especially loved the great outdoors and her many visits to the lake cabins of both Tom and Dave. She enjoyed spending time with her many friends at Valley View Cooperative. She also cherished spending time with her long- time friend, Lucy Kammer, who she met in 1955. She always had a special place in her heart for her wonderful nieces Barb Gray and Luann Swift. She was a very affectionate grandma to Dave and Cindy's many dogs, whom she referred to as her four-legged grandchildren. Bea never turned down an opportunity to play cards or games with family and friends. She loved working on jigsaw puzzles and collecting coins in her spare time. Her faith was very important to her and she was a long-time (charter) member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church. Bea worked many years and retired from ADC Telecommunications. Bea is survived by children, Thomas (Julie), Jayne (Bob) Fuller, David (Cindy); grandchildren, Thomas (Kendall), Brian (Kellie) Fitzgerald, Michael (Kristin), Tim Fitzgerald (Neeshy Flowers), Scott (Allison); great-grandchildren, Carson, Elin, Caleb, Natalie, Anna, Lily, Ethan; her brother John (Jack), and many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff of Grace Hospice for their wonderful care and kindness. Memorials are preferred to St. Stephen Lutheran Church, The Alzheimer's Association, and Grace Hospice. We entrust Bea to the never-ending love of God and are thankful for her life. Funeral service will be held at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior on Friday, September 22nd at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 8400 France Avenue South, Bloomington.
